| This amplifier is just great. Pherhaps some find it a little expensive, but keep in mind that you get a full 1KW on 6 meters on top of 1.8 to 30. I specially like the monitoring functions on the LCD bar. Instantly you get to see what the state of the amp is, power, reflected, VSWR, drive, consupmtion, voltage, ... The tuning aid is fantastic. I tune this amp in less than 5 seconds and with the marker and the forward drive, you can't miss it. Only a full automatic amp beats this (like the Acom 2000). I like the automatic 6 dB att. when tuning so your rig remains untouched ! great ! I get a clean and easy 1050 watts when driving it with 55 watts input. In CW average is 1150 watts forward power. Always very nice reports and audio quality. Reports showing easy +12,5 dB gain as promised. You get trough pile-ups for shure or get comfortable signals to listen to. The amp consumes not more than 1000 watts (CW) with full load (230VAC) and 750-800 watts (SSB). The keying is virutally silent, and QSK is possible. The ventilation is smooth and this amp is more qiet than my rig's fan. Protection against overheating, over drive, low voltage, spikes, reflected power (up to 0.5 Kw) all works like a charm.
