| This is a great midsize amplifier. I have owned several amps before this jewel (Quadra – AL1200 – Clipperton L). All of these are nice units, but there was always something that I didn’t like about them. Not so with this baby. After reading all the reviews on the 1000, I called Will and place my order. I was put on a waiting list and my check was held in escrow until the amp was shipped. After 4 weeks my unit arrived at my door. What a great amplifier. It is nearly as easy to tune as many of the solid-state units. My IC756PRO sees 50 ohms on all bands 160 to 6 meters and the amp loads into the 8 element log periodic no problem. 55 Watts will get you 1000 Watts out and it is soooo quiet! Would I buy another? You bet! | |||
