ACOM 2000SW | Remote Antenna Switch

ACOM 2000SW | Remote Antenna Switch

Usage
The ACOM 2000SW is a remote 1 out of 10 antenna switch designed for outdoor use (dust and rain protected). The 2000SW switch is controlled via 4-bit parallel BCD code input commands (e.g., from ACOM 2000S automatic antenna selector).

Integration capabilities

  • When used in combination with the ACOM 2000S antenna selector and the ACOM 2000A Automatic HF Linear Amplifier, antenna selection information generated by the ACOM 2000A is communicated to the 2000S. The 2000S displays the currently selected antenna number and drives the control signals needed to operate the remotely-located ACOM 2000SW;
  • The 2000SW is controlled by 4-bit BCD code (positive or inverted, internally selectable) input commands. This make integration in other automatic antenna systems very easy;

Compatibility

  • Directly compatible with ACOM 2000A automatic HF linear amplifier using the ACOM 2000S antenna selector;
  • Control is compatible with other systems via 4-bit BCD code input commands;
  • For manual control, only a simple BCD-coding switch plus 27 VDC / 150 mA unregulated power supply are enough;

Continuous carrier
Up to 5 kW continuous carrier: Teflon (PTFE) insulated connectors for 100% duty cycle (continuous) operation.

Construction
Gold-plated contacts for excellent reception, no contact-derived cross-modulation phenomenon.

Protection
Anti-hot switching self protection for reliable contact operation. Monitors RF incoming power and generates a "Ready to transmit" output signal for maximum operating flexibility. Grounds unused antennas during operation for excellent crosstalk isolation. After switching off, all antennas are automatically grounded for maximum lightning safety.

Antenna switching time
Less than 0.15 seconds operating time, including bounces.

Easy to istall
Only 2 holes needed, mounting bracket included.

Recommendation
Both ACOM 2000SW (remote antenna switch) and ACOM 2000S (automatic antenna selector) operate perfectly together. Thus, is recommended both devices be ordered as a package.
